Project submission

The Foundation Board actively seeks for its partners and projects on the basis of a careful selection process. The Roger Federer Foundation therefore do not accept unsolicited requests for funding.

We support:
+ Solely projects located in Southern Africa or Switzerland
+ Projects focused on early learning and basic education
+ Projects which build on existing frameworks and services
+ Projects supporting sports for the youth in Switzerland
+ Long-term partnerships with local NGOs
+ Projects with a sustainable impact
+ Projects with a vision, goals and measurable indicators
+ Projects whith a committment of the local community
+ Projects over a time of 3 to max. 10 years
+ Projects with an minimal amount CHF 100’000 per year

We do not support:
- The single initiative or individual support
- Institutions linked to governments and aid organisations
- International institutions / NGOs
- Religious institutions / NGOs
- Private businesses / companies
- Projects concerning catastrophe – and emergency aid
- Sports promoting projects
- Projects with unclear goals and diffused strategies
- Congresses, events or trips
- Publications (print and film)
